Reading the book, ‘Let Us Know the Holy Spirit’, was an experience where my heart and spirit were encouraged in faith of Jesus. The revelation of His word made me examine myself on how I see the Holy Spirit, sometimes through ignorance, we offend and grieve the Holy Spirit who is the most important in my life. The word is very clear that the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. We must walk in the life of faith being aware that He is sensible, and we are His temple. So, we must take care of the temple, keep it clean and suitable for Him to dwell in us comfortably. I must honor Him and not grieve Him, since Christians must pay the price themselves, which I do not want to happen in me. My desire is to let myself be guided by the Holy Spirit, to let myself be governed by Him and I will not resist. While reading this book, the Word of God spoke to my life and let me know the Holy Spirit. I learned that in the Trinity there is no rank, none of them is more important than the other, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three persons in the Trinity are saints and one God with different roles, the Father who plans, the Son who executes and the Holy Spirit who preserves the work of Jesus. The name of Jesus is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit so much; He is indispensable in our life. He helps us to be witnesses of Jesus, we must seek the filling of the Holy Spirit, only He will guide us to the truth of the word and teach us to obey the commandments. Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to be witnesses of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is power within us. To be filled with the Holy Spirit means to be governed by thought, heart and actions, which is something that many times it’s hard. Therefore, we must deny ourselves every day. For example, the Holy Spirit gave Paul testimonies that prisons were coming to him, but he kept going because it was not him but the Holy Spirit ruling his life and He led him with joy. I must have a life that pleases the Holy Spirit. Thank you for allowing me to receive this book, it has been a great blessing.
