Believe The Son of God (John 1:43-51) - Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim

God
is the Holy Trinity.
He
sent His beloved Son to the world (Jn 3:16)
so that the world could believe Him and be saved.
In regard to believing Him,
you should believe that He is God’s Son and Christ (Jn 17:3).
People knew
that Jesus was a Nazarene and the son of a carpenter (Mt 13:55).
He is clearly the son of Abraham and of David (Mt 1:1-16).
But it is common sense to understand Him as a descendant of humans.
This is not faith which leads to salvation (Mk 3:21).
Salvation
is the faith given by God (Mt 16:16-17).
The faith given by God
is believing Jesus is the Christ (Jn 17:8).
‘Messiah’
refers to the Savior who the Hebrews were waiting for.
‘Christ’
refers to the Redeemer who all mankind was waiting for (Jn 4:25).
The fig tree is the national tree of Israel.
It means living under the prophecies of the Law (Jn 1:50).
○ Do not believe man’s common sense or wisdom,
but believe the words of the Lord Jesus
and understand that you are a sinner.
○ Jesus is the Christ
and came to save the spirits of mankind.
Christ is the One who God sent.
○ Salvation
comes from God and it is accepted through God’s grace.
※ Jesus saved our spirits from sin
and allows us to experience the Resurrection and gain eternal life.
You must believe Jesus is God’s Son.
